Company Overview
Accel Consulting Limited (ACL) is a Sussex based Multi-Disciplinary Construction Consultant, founded in 1999. The firm is Regulated by the RICS. The owner and Managing Director, Gavin Chatfield, is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (qualified 1986)
In 26 years of operation, the firm has received nil formal complaints, and has never been subject to any Professional Indemnity Claim
Over the last 10 years, whilst continuing to be a traditional QS practice at heart, the firm has specialised in providing a combined PM, CM, and QS service on brownfield residential sites under parallel RICS Project Management and JCT/CM Appointments.
The firm has six senior staff, providing in-house project management, construction management, design and quantity surveying expertise.
The firm also has in house design and CAD capabilities which we have learned can provide invaluable support to the CM and QS service
All of the Accel staff have more than 25 years relevant experience, and all have been with the firm for over 10 years.
Periodically, if critical path dictates a need for additional resources, high volume pre-contract quantity surveying tasks (typically RC frames, brickwork and drylining) are outsourced to specialist BQ production surveyors who are covered under our PI.
The CM route provides a level of control and flexibility that cannot exist on any traditional procurement route.
